Equipping others for their essential oil journey is what Aroma Outfitters is passionate about. A company providing accessories for essential oil users and selling primarily on the Amazon platform. Their mission is to help others use their essential oils wherever their journey takes them.

The Challenge

Aroma Outfitters needed a website and web presence, social media presence and wanted to begin to grow and leverage an email list. Additionally, Aroma Outfitters wanted a way to pre-qualify buyers of their products before sending them to Amazon to purchase. (Conversion rates on Amazon are a big deal!).

Our Approach

Starting with the design of the website, we created a traditional home page with appealing graphics and clearly defined sections. Colors were chosen using traditional essential oil plants and “all things natural”. To ensure the best visibility, we created a clean high-contrast style that is easy to read and navigate.

In order to ensure ease of navigation, we added two levels of navigation, with an upper navigation bar that features a blog section to learn about essential oil usage. Videos were shot and edited to communicate the mission of Aroma Outfitters to those visiting their site.

For the “shop” page, we added several product photos and information for people to be able to make a purchasing decision before going to Amazon to purchase.

We also added a VIP club sign up to allow for email addresses to be collected – we created an “opt-in” magnet – a DIY guide for people to receive in exchange for joining the VIP club.

Woo commerce was added for some items to be sold from the website itself with online payment/purchasing and shopping cart feature.
We helped Aroma Outfitters get started with their social media presence and offered training on how to procure good content for their social media channels.
